Alberta Advantage Party submits over 8,600 signatures to Elections Alberta to form official party, offering a practical grassroots alternative to UCP

The Alberta Advantage Party has submitted beyond the requisite 7,878 signatures to Elections Alberta to request formal party status recognition.

“As a founder of the former Wildrose Party, I believe that Albertans deserve an honest and practical grassroots alternative to Jason Kenney and the UCP”, says Party Leader Marilyn Burns.

An Alberta Advantage Party government’s top three priorities would be more accountability by offering Albertans the right to recall their MLA, results-based education reform focused on learning – not social progressive conditioning against family values, and more economic freedom from Ottawa through tax autonomy, championing our oil and gas sector, and driving agricultural innovation for Albertan farmers.

“Although they do not want an NDP government, the people of Alberta are telling us daily that they feel they can no longer trust Jason Kenney or his ability to represent Albertans. The Alberta Advantage Party provides them with hope and the promise of strong family values, as well as a strong economy”, says Party President David Inscho.
